Jasun Envirocare is currently recruiting for a machine operator to join our friendly team !
Location : We are located approximately 1 mile from Bridgwater Town Centre, with good road links to the M5, free parking is available on site.
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Work Patter: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.45pm
Salary : £10.75 per hour (paid weekly) (£11.50 from 1st of April)
You will have a proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment, of operating machines (controlling and adjusting settings, correct feed of raw materials, inspection of manufactured parts with precision measuring, fixing issues that may occur during the shift), and checking output to spot any mistakes or flaws.
You will need to have a good standard of numeracy as you will be required to calculate various measurements during the manufacturing process.
Main duties:
- To program and operate the Zund machine according to the job sheet specification, producing good quality press outs ready for assembly
- To follow job sheet specification ensuring the correct type, size and quantity is produced
- To QA check the card prior to assembly
- To QA check the finished press outs
- To carry out basic maintenance / cleaning of the machine
- To report any faults with the machine to a supervisor or the maintenance department
- To keep the work area clean and tidy

Location: We are located approximately 1 mile from Bridgwater Town Centre, with good road links to the M5, free parking is available on site.
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Work Patter: Monday to Friday - 8am- 4.45pm
The successful candidate will have experience running and maintaining a machine, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise the workload and keep to manufacturing deadlines.
Willingness to cross-train over several machines is important.
You will be manually dexterous, and literate and numerate as you will be working from job sheet specifications and an ability to read measurements accurately in both metric and imperial is essential.
You will be target driven and you will have an eye for detail, producing high quality filters.

Jasun Envirocare is currently recruiting for a Production supervisor in our Carbon Filter Department.
Location : We are located approximately 1 mile from Bridgwater Town Centre, with good road links to the M5, free parking is available on site.
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Work Patter: Monday to Friday 8am- 4.45pm (40 hours per week)
Salary : £12.60 an hour
Main Responsibilities:
- To supervise staff and to ensure they have work set out for each day
- Manage holiday and absences
- To hand build non-standard carbon filters to Customers specification, working from job tickets with various dimensions and carbon media grades
- To QA inspect all raw materials prior to manufacturing
- To mix carbon granules with PVA base glue to the correct mix in the rotary cement mixer and add scrim and place mix into correct biscuit mould size, and to the correct quantity.
- To ensure the biscuits are cured overnight in the ovens
- To assemble filter using biscuits and frames
- To seal the filter with potting glue
- To ensure correct PPE is work when potting rig in replenished, and the correct procedure for cleaning spills is followed
- Keeping the factory clean and tidy at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Good organisation skills and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Salary : £10.75 per hour (paid weekly)
You will have a proven track record of working in a manufacturing environment, using hand tools, and following health and safety protocol.
You will need to have a good standard of literacy and numeracy as you will be working to job tickets assembling HEPA filters
Good organisational skills and motivation are vital to ensure output is optimised and production targets are met.
Please be aware there will be a requirement to undertake training on our Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8-4:45) before joining our late shift.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills.
The main role will be to coordinate a large water hygiene contract and carry out administration works within our water hygiene team.
Main responsibilities:
- Arranging site surveys
- Raising quotations
- Raising sales orders on receipt of customer purchase orders
- Raising purchase orders
- Booking works, liaising between customers and engineers
- Building and submitting of approved RAMS
- Arranging permits (where applicable)
- Reporting – gathering attendance/engineers visit sheets and keeping a record of these
- Invoicing completed works
- Building and completion of air hygiene reports and certificates
